A little about me
Hey, I'm Emi. I'm an old soul, born in the wrong generation. I was totally meant to live out my 20s in the 1970s, traveling the country in a VW van, listening to classic rock the whole way.
I've been with my husband, John, since high school. After we got engaged we found out we were pregnant. We got married in 2015 on the beach at Hilton Head Island. It was a quickly planned wedding. I was working a full-time job, going to school, & pregnant so I delegated a lot of the planning to my mom. She did an amazing job and I am so, so thankful for her. But, if I could do it all over again, I would do things much differently. Most of all, I would have invested in a photographer. The only images I have from my wedding day are...😩 Kinda ironic, isn't it?
That's one of the many reasons I was inspired to become a wedding photographer, what gives me so much passion. Your wedding photos should bring you back to your special day. Let's do it right the first time.

I was the kid with the old Polaroid camera, begging my mom to buy me another pack of film every time she went to the store. You can say I've always had a thing for documenting moments.
After I had my babies I fell in love with capturing the moments of their lives. My passion for photography eventually blossomed into a full-time wedding photography business that I absolutely LOVE! Telling love stories is truly what I was meant to do :)

The messy, in-the-moment, love-filled, film-like images where you almost FEEL like you're there...thats what inspires me. I adore film so much because it has so much feeling.
I am a true believer in romanticizing your life. All the little moments & the big ones. They are what makes this life worth living.

What Inspires Me

Wedding days are intimate. You need someone who you can count on to be there for you every step of the way. Someone who you're comfortable with. Someone who will capture all the little details, even ones you may have missed. I've got you.
On wedding days I arrive early to get the bridal party helping the bride get ready. And the groomsmen sneaking a few drinks to calm their nerves.
You'll most likely find me with a coffee in hand, buzzing with energy to capture one of the most important, memorable days of your lives. I won’t miss a moment.
Through the ceremony & reception, I’ll be there in the center of it all photographing moments and details that you might’ve missed (Aunt Becky getting down on the dance floor) so that you can relive it all over again. That's my promise to you!

Behind The Lens
My favorite thing to do outside of photography is make memories with my little family. I have two girls, Maddie & Livi, my husband, John, and our two weenie dogs, Max & Bo. We love traveling and experiencing new things together!
I’m an enneagram 7 so be prepared to laugh your ass off the entire time you’re around me. I’m an absolute goofball. I've watched The Office & Superstore at least a few dozen times. Anddd I love trying new coffee shops anytime I get a chance!
